Love...

Love. There are many things people can say about love, different ways it can be defined. Everyone loves at least one person. You can love your mother or father, sister or brother, aunt or uncle or even a close friend. You can also love that special someone who means the world to you and loves you for who you really are. Love is described differently by every person, but it is something that is unlimited and can go around to everyone, without fail and without running out. Valentine's Day is set aside as a day to express your love for someone speical. But why only the one day? Everyday you can show someone you love them.

To me, love is something very important. As they say, "It is better to have loved once, than to have never loved at all". I agree with this saying, as it is saying that to go through life without being love, is really sad and one would feel lonley and upset. On the other hand, someone can love once, and have it not work out, but at least that person can say, "yes someone loved me and I loved them", there is nothing like that. Love is something that cannot be described completley or fully, it can only be felt. But those who feel it; know it is there. Love is when knowing you can't be with that person, but knowing that they are happy make it all okay. Love can be shown without saying. That special look that special someone gives you, or that smile or hug that makes you feel all mushy gushy inside. Love is something that many people search for their entire lives, and many do not find. It comes to you when least expect it and when it does, it is the best feeling in the world. There are not enough words to describe what it feels like. Love is when two people spend their lives together, laughing, crying, getting angry at each other once in awhile, but in the end always knowing that they are their for each other, no matter what. Love is growing old together. When an elder man has to help his wife put on her makeup or dress because she is unable to. That is love. Love is when you hear their name you instantly smile, or start giggling like a little schoolgirl. Often one finds love in someone you wouldn't have thought of before. A relationship of close friends changes to something more. Love is being there for each other, unconditionally, and enjoying every minute of it. Love brings out the best in people. It is when someone looks at you and tells you, "I love you for being you".

I really hope that everyone finds that love, however it may be. One thing is important though. You have to be able to accept yourself, love yourself, before you can love anybody else.

This is me walking to my car, Rob took this pic, my beast car (or as some call it "the welfare van", even though it's not a van lol) is waay behind me, I was very cold...brrrr

Here is a picture of an intersection, I took it while stopped at a red light, you can't really see all the snow, but you get the jist as to how crappy the conditions were to drive in

This is our deck in the bakyard, it is usually the place the gets the most snow, as you can see it already has tons

This is a random car at the university parking lot, I saw while I was walking to my car, and I think it had been there since the day before, as you can see, you can barley see the car anymore...

This is my mom and me, I had just come in from taking snow pictures, she doesn't seem to happy about me taking the pic lol...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

Sat-siri-akal and hello to everyone!!!! Since Monday, we have gone from having no snow whatsoever, to having about 2 feet. It is crazzzzzzy!! It is really nice when the temperature is not too cold, and it is snowning lightly, it actually looks really pretty and is a lot of fun because you can have wicked snow ball fights, hehehe. However, when the temperature drops to -30 or more with a windchill, it starts to bite you in the tooshy, not so much fun anymore. Then there is the driving on the roads with people who do not want to leave just a little bit sooner, and drive a little bit slower. Those are the people you see in accidents or stuck in a snowbank....the roads yesterday were sooo bad, when turning you have to go so so slowing or else you will end up sliding and skidding with no control at all. I remember about 2 or 3 years ago, before when I only had my learners, my Dad would drive my friend Lerissa and I to school in the morning and he would let me drive. So the one morning we are going, and it was really really icy that day (by the way, I was driving the massive Toyota 4Runner that day, for those who don't know, is friggen huge, and you would be able to go through any snow) and I went to turn left in a mjor intersection, and it was soo icy that I ended up losing control and doing a complete 360 sliding into the other lane of oncoming traffic. Scariest moment ever, luckily there were no cars there then, or else it would have been a major accident. I remember that I was so scared to drive after that, it took me awhile before I could drive in the snow and ice again....just shows that you have to be uber careful when driving in the snow. Here are so pictures that were taken this week. Enjoy!

This is our house, I took it from across the sreet...oh the snow...

Me as a wee one

So I found some very interesting, to say the least, pictures of me when I was wee. Some of them are very, VERY interesting, and please may you all be warned. ENJOY!

This is me about a day old...I love the hair, haha

Dazed and confused, the definition of me

Here I seriously look like a munda, hmmmm

Shhmiiiiilleeeeeeee!!!

One of my favorite suits, man if only I could still fit into it, tear.

I'm not a munda

Miss you Pajee

This entry is for my Taran Pajee. He was only 26 when he passed away from cancer. He fought hard for 2 years, fighting to stay alive. Throughout his rounds of kemo, days of intense pain, and throwing up, he always had a smile on his face. He still kept on laughing. He was such a positive person, and I think that without that, he would not have survived as long as he did. I only got to see him when we went to England every summer, but whenever we were there, we would always have the best time. He was always up for doing something fun and exciting. I remember this one time, we were all in their pool in the backyard, and he threw me in, haha...it was so funny because I was splashing about (for those who don't know, I dont swim so well, nor do i enjoy it, lol). It was just one of those times that I really remember spending time with him. He was always smiling, and full of life. The last time I saw him was only about a month before he passed away. He was still so livley. One evening Mamaji was there from Vancouver and did kirtan. Pajee played such wicked tabla with him, even though he was in so much pain. It was really something. It showed how much shakti and himmat he had still had in him.

This picture is from my first visit in England in 1989. It was taken infront of my Masi's house in Hounslow. Taran Pajee is holding me, standing beside him is Rav. We all miss Pajee and still wish he was here to brighten our lives. We miss you.

good times...

Sat-siri-akal and hello to everyone today! I thought I would add this video that I found. When I Mander Bhenji, Satnam Bhenji, Meena Bhenji, Bakhshash Pajee and I were all smaller, we used to get together for everyones birthday's and anniversaries. We always did something special and it was a load of fun. I still have memories of good food, and everyone getting together. Since everyone has grown up now and gotten married and moved around we get together a lot less. Even so, we still keep in touch and are always thinking about each other. Hope you guys are all good! Take care, and you can click on the link below to see the video. Enoy!

Ram-E and Dav-E's Wedding

I know that the "wedding of the summer" was awhile ago, but as i have just set my blog I would write about it now....Davinder and Meena's wedding was so so awesome. One of those weddings that I will never forget. Met so many new people (some who have made a huuuuge differnce to me) and i really, really had a wicked time. i will never forget the morning after the wedding when Davy knocks on the door and meena goes "who is it" and davy goes "it's your husbaaand", and then comes downstairs for breakfast/brunch in his banaan and kachara lol...oh how you always make me laugh. :-)

Rob and Sarah...

Sarah and I at my 19th birthday...man do i ever have a blast with this girl, luv ya lots!!!!!!!!

Rob and Sarah are my 2 closest friends, funny thing however, they are dating each other :-p, haha. So yeah, i have gotten used to being a third wheel, but its all good. :-). You guys both know i heart you lots! Anyways, these two are the bestest friends anyone could ask for. They are always there for, always there to help you, and always are there when you need someone to talk to. Without you guys, life would really be a lot tougher, and also I would probably laugh a lot less....yes, yes, we have our many thousands of insiders, and good times...and the fact that they love how i cannot tell a story without going "ummm", or "uhhh" at least 10 times is so funny...heart you guys lots!!!!!!!!

Rob and me, well being us....lol...i heart you :)
